Presidential elections will be held in Cyprus on 5 February 2023. If no candidate receives a majority of the vote, a runoff will be held on 12 February.
Incumbent president Nicos Anastasiades of the Democratic Rally, who won the presidential elections in 2013 and 2018, is ineligible to run due to the two-term limit.
Electoral system
The president of Cyprus is elected using the two-round system; if no candidate receives over 50% of the vote in the first round, a second round is be held between the top two candidates.
